As as response to "anon's" remarks to Ambird etc. about "stealing their style"... As an art student, someone who is going to school to learn to analyze and produce art, I do not see a lot of similarities between Jenyffer's and Ambird's work. Jenyffer's work often has brighter colors while Ambird's has softer ones, the line weights are different, they each have their own distinctive "subject matter", and specific, easier-to-notice things like the way the faces are drawn is really different.
Even if one was influenced or inspired by the other, who cares? That's how art is supposed to work. It's completely fine to see someone try a technique and want to use it in your own work, and to take it and change something to make it your own is how new techniques are developed. In fact, that's one of the things that is most encouraged in art school (mine at least), to take a technique from an artist you admire and change it to have a unique method. Learning artists are ENCOURAGED to COPY DRAWINGS AND PAINTINGS from other artists they look up to (and AGAIN, I am NOT saying that this is the case here. Because I DISAGREE with you). It's a way to learn. And honestly? As long as those paintings and drawings are not being sold or claimed as your own ideas and work, and you give credit to the original artist, I think that it's perfectly fine.
I'm sick of hearing "xxx stole yyy's style" because unless something is blatantly copied, like a face being stolen, a costume being taken, a background replicated and claimed as original material, who really gives a shit! Using the same medium, or an object appearing in two artist's work is NOT stealing another person's style (and those are the only two things that I really think these artist's work has in common. Guess what? there are 2000 other artists whose work will fit into both these categories too.) If you think someone's work is being stolen, like a specific concept or it looks like something might be directly copied and it is not credited to the original artist, be ready to prove it with pictures and not just empty anonymous accusations.
Jennyffer and Ambird, rock on. I follow both your work and you are both great. Looking forward to your next pieces.

Wow, I want to thank you for taking the time to type this out — I agree with you hundred percent.
I wasn’t too bothered because how can I possibly be annoyed by someone blatantly trying to instigate absurd rivalries while remaining anonymous?
If there’s two things I have taken from Miss Ambird, it’s motivation to try a new medium and tips.
