This is my favorite photo of all time because it pretty much sums up my childhood. Just check out those braids and yes those are light up LA Gear sandals. It was taken one summer in Santa Marta, Colombia.
My ma, sister, and I were just walking around and a man stopped us holding a sloth, he approached me and said, “here” and next thing I know I’m holding a live sloth. Looking back now I probably should have freaked out, there are still so many unanswered questions. I’m just glad my mom had her camera with her.
Anyway, every time sloths are mentioned in my everyday life I immediately look back on this day.

Taking a break from my usual Jen routine to do my number one favorite thing in the world. Now I just have to figure out which game I want to beat play today.
I woke up to a couple of messages asking if I took requests and how much I charged for them (even though my last two posts were about exactly that… oh you guys…ha!) Anyway, I decided to make a more thorough post about the subject.
I do take requests and commissions but to keep things fair for myself and you guys I sell spots.
Right now I’m only offering two types, Ink on 4.5x6.5in on tan sugar paper, $15 and 5x8in Custom Watercolor Portrait - Original, $25. There’s currently only one of each available at the moment.
Every now and then I’ll do custom moleskines, notebooks, and larger sizes. To keep tabs on these spots I made a separate page for them for details and/or purchasing them:
